Rubber Dam is also known as Koffer Dam, this is mainly used in endodontics, prosthodontics and restorative procedures. This prevents any saliva flow to the operating area and keeps the field dry.

It’s a thin sheet of latex used to set apart the teeth to be treated treating tooth from rest of the oral cavity. Rubber Dam is also known as Koffer Dam, this is mainly used in Endodontic, prosthodontic and for restorative procedures. This prevents any saliva flow to the operating area and keeps the field dry. The Rubber Dam kit consists of Sheets, Clamps of various sizes for different tooth, a punch machine and sheet holder. Rubber dam can be easily applied to a single tooth or several tooth. The tooth to be treated is selected and the punch is made accordingly, the sheet is placed on the tooth and the clamp is applied using an instrument.
